FREDERICKTOWN, OHIO December 27, 2007 - Divelbiss announces the HEC-2000 PLC addition to the HEC family of Harsh Environment Controllers. Based on PLC on a Chip technology, the HEC-2000 Harsh Environment Controller allows for programmable intelligence under less than ideal conditions due to a sealed, water-tight enclosure with pluggable connectors. The standard enclosure is submersible to three feet and is screw and sub-plate mountable. The HEC-2000 is programmed using Divelbiss EZ Ladder software which supports ladder diagram with function block programming. The HEC-2000 Harsh Environment Controller features 8 to 32 VDC input power. I/O includes eight (8) 8-32 VDC inputs; two 40 kHz high-speed counters; and eight (8) digital/PWM outputs rated to three amps with automatic over-current safety and programmable status monitoring for each. Network communication is accomplished via the CAN port or by using the optional second serial communication port. Expansion I/O includes both digital and analog with allowance for future custom modules as required. Typical industrial use includes control for engine driven pumps and compressors, mobile asset management and tracking, intelligent mining or oil field equipment, conveyor systems, and marine application. The 8 to 32 VDC input power and wide operating temperature range ( -40 to +70 degrees C ) is particularly useful for ease in utilization by off-highway and agriculture machinery platforms. Product specifications and complete User's Manuals for these products are available at our web site. |
