DVT Expands Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia

New Facility Three Times Larger to Better Serve Growing Global Customer Base

Atlanta, Georgia, March 03, 2003– DVT Corporation, who invented the first “smart camera” machine vision sensor for automated inspections in the manufacturing process, today announced the expansion and relocation of its corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

DVT’s new headquarters, at 1855 Satellite Boulevard, provides 3 times the space of its previous facility and enables the company to expand its engineering, research and development, and sales and marketing departments to meet projected growth worldwide. Global support will be enhanced with the addition of state-of-the-art web video conferencing capability at every computer throughout the building. The new facility also allows the Company to broaden its capabilities to support requirements from its customers and partners.

“This expansion strengthens our present and future position to serve our global customer base,” said Bob Steinke, President and CEO at DVT Corporation. “The new headquarters allows us to invest in our most valuable asset—our employees; allowing DVT to continue our ‘first to market’ product philosophy to meet your needs.”

“The new facility includes a large engineering lab and testing facility,” said Steve Gieseking, Director of R&D at DVT. “This increased floor space allows our engineers to work in a world-class development environment, to create market-leading machine vision systems for the manufacturing industry.”

Headquartered in Norcross, GA, DVT Corporation ignited the machine vision revolution in the early 1990s with SmartImage Sensors and has continued to upgrade, enhance and integrate the technology into the most cost-effective vision systems in the industry. Starting at $2995, all SmartImage Sensors are Ethernet ready. Whether implemented as a simple, direct connection between the SmartImage Sensor and a computer, or as a connection that crosses the globe via the Internet, DVT exploits the Ethernet's architecture to bring real-time inspections and remote diagnostics to any aspect of a company’s enterprise.
