Dwyer introduces Series AVUB Air Velocity Transmitter

April 19, 2011 - Dwyer Instruments introduces Series AVUB Air Velocity Transmitter. The Series AVUB Transmitter operates by measuring the heat loss from its sensing element in the air-stream and calculating the air velocity by reading the local temperature of the air on its probe. Units are virtually immune to drift due to the design of the sensing element, which makes the transmitter accurate over the entire air velocity range. The Series AVUB offers 8% accuracy at a surprisingly low cost. Models are available in three ranges of 0 to 785 fpm (0 to 4 m/s), 0 to 1575 fpm (0 to 8 m/s), and 0 to 3150 fpm (16 m/s) with a 0 to 10 VDC output. The Series AVUB is ideal for a wide range of HVAC measurement and control applications, particularly in complete building control and energy management systems.
