January 12, 2012 - INSYS introduces VPN Connectivity Service, INSYS icom provides an extensive communication solution that considerably facilitates the set-up and operation of secure VPN networks. The VPN service for customers, allowing them to use VPN networks without any engineering effort and without previous knowledge of the field. Configuration and commissioning are very easy: users can add new devices via an internet portal. The VPN settings and the system-generated certificates are downloaded automatically. Industrial routers from the INSYS MoRoS line are configured automatically, but customers can also use units from other manufacturers. A virtually unlimited number of routers, whose IP addresses can be freely chosen, can be managed through this service. The system enables remote access to terminal devices connected to the routers, allowing e.g. for remote configuration and remote maintenance. Moreover, the central web portal features group management and connection control func-tions: users can create groups and assign devices to these groups. They can then specify whether connections within one group and incoming or outgoing connections between groups are permitted. . |
