||
BADEN-BADEN, Germany - Eaton Corporation introduces its next generation connector called STCâ EZ Torque. It is compatible with standard threaded ports and can be installed without the need of an adapter. This eliminates the need for special ports or as well as the need for tools. STC EZ Torque, expected to be in production by mid-2007, pushes the envelope of possibilities for fluid connections. "STC EZ Torque is a revolutionary concept," reveals Mr. Ralph Wolter, Product Manager EATON Europe. STC EZ Torque makes the connection without the need for an integrated receiving port (direct port) or adapter. This new fitting is compatible with the most common DIN ISO threaded ports. The new connector opens up new opportunities in both mobile and stationary applications. "We're ramping up the STC EZ Torque system to be available in mid-2007 and we're extremely confident that this product will revolutionize the fluid connector industry," asserts Ralph Wolter. "Working together with our other successful product launches like GH466 and WALRing, STC EZ Torque solidifies Eaton's position even more as a leading innovator." Eaton will present the STC EZ Torque product and related details at the Hannover Messe (Hall 22, Stand B16) and at bauma (Hall A3, Stand 503/602). Rounding out Eaton's extensive line of innovative and customer-oriented technology are the GH466 and WALRing fluid conveyance products. The GH466 six-spiral high-pressure hose from Eaton (DN51) has been in standard use since 2005. With the WALRing, Eaton has launched a cutting ring system with a captive seal on the market. The two-edge cutting ring is combined with the tried-and-tested WALFORMplus captive seal. Eaton's Hydraulics Operations is a business segment of Eaton's Fluid Power Group.
