| Emerson's New Rosemount(R) High Pressure Transmitter Delivers Superior Performance With Cost Savings In Panel Applications |
 Rangeability of Oil and Gas Panel Transmitter lowers inventory cost; three-year "set and forget" stability guarantee reduces calibration costs CHANHASSEN, MN (March 11, 2003) - Emerson Process Management introduces the Rosemount(R) Model 4600 Oil & Gas Panel Transmitter, which delivers superior performance, reliability and measurement stability in a compact package specifically designed for high-density panel applications. The new Model 4600 is a lightweight, all welded stainless steel pressure transmitter designed to withstand the harsh conditions found in many high pressure, offshore applications. The transmitter's high rangeability and the three-year stability guarantee help to lower operating and maintenance costs, while dual process sealing provides unparalleled safety for panel applications. Additionally, the leading edge capacitance sensor, which features an integral temperature measurement, provides superior total performance over the entire operating temperature range. The Model 4600 is ideally suited for high-pressure wellhead monitoring, chemical injection and other offshore applications where a compact device is required. The 30:1 rangeability not only provides increased flexibility for changing well pressures, but it also lowers inventories by allowing three transmitter ranges to cover pressures from 130 - 20,000 psi. Additionally, a three-year "set and forget" stability guarantee reduces the frequency of calibration and lowers maintenance costs.
