TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA (May 5, 2008) Encelium Technologies announced that its ECS energy management and lighting control system can integrate with Tridiums Niagara AX framework. Integration of Enceliums Energy Control System (ECS) technology with Tridium allows the system to communicate with other building systems in intelligent building applications. By integrating with the Tridium Niagara AX framework, we can help building owners and managers dramatically reduce energy consumption across multiple systems such as HVAC as well as lighting, said Terry Mocherniak, CEO of Encelium. The Encelium system also features BACnet/IP to facilitate communication and integration with other building systems. Todays announcement of a dedicated Niagara AX driver expands this integration capability and accelerates Enceliums position as a leader in intelligent building systems. This is a significant milestone, and one more reason why Encelium is at the forefront of the green building movement, Mocherniak added. About Encelium Technologies Encelium Technologies is an advanced technology development company specializing in integrated lighting control systems for commercial buildings. Using the collaborative power of addressable networking technology in conjunction with advanced control hardware and software, its systems are designed to maximize energy savings and provide attractive returns on investment. It has operations in the U.S., Canada and Europe. |
