Taipei, Taiwan, April 26, 2007 – Ethernet Direct announces Falcon Industrial Wireless Products FWI and FWO series. Falcon Industrial wireless LAN products ensure Security, Interoperability, Robust construction, Reliability and Quality, as required in Industrial wireless outdoor network applications. Extreme Operation Reliability Falcon Industrial wireless products are true robust housing with IP-68 protection on FWO-710, FWO-711, FWO-712 and FWO-713 and IP-66 protection on FWI-701 and FWI-702. Equipped with extreme form factor protection makes Falcon Wireless products weatherproof, waterproof, dust proof, endure high resistant to shock, vibration & with wide operating temperature of -30 to 70 deg C, suitable for harsh outdoor installation environment. Stable Data Transmission With innovation technology design, FWO and FWI series provides high data rate transmission for outdoor environment which is faster than xDSL connection speed. It links two or more separate networks to create a single expanded LAN network cost effectively and efficiently. High Level of Security Data security and reliability is critical. To secure information, Falcon Wireless products come with WEP encryption and WAP feature. All products are WI-FI compliant and pass regulatory approvals to offer a safe & secure usage and installation. Interoperability & Flexibility Falcon Wireless products comply with IEEE 802.11 a/b/g standards and come in different radio modules ranging from 2.3 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz. To accommodate various wireless LAN deployment, Falcon Wireless products support five operating modes: Access Point (AP), Point-to-Point Bridge (PtP), Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) Bridge, Wireless Client, or Repeater. In order to achieve a stable wireless connection by reducing the roaming between Access points, Falcon Wireless products not only deliver high radio output power but also maintain high signal sensitivity for quality data transmission.
