September 5, 2008-- AXIOMTEK introduceS PANEL1173-841 industrial panel PC featuring excellent expansion ability with two PCI expansion slots. Powered by the Intel Q965 Express chipset, the PANEL1173-841 supports an Intel Core2 Duo processor with up to 3GB of dual channel DDR2 system memory. The high performance industrial panel PC adopts a rugged industrial-grade front bezel, and is equipped with a 17" SXGA TFT LCD with resolution up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. The PANEL1173-841 uses the Intel Q965+ICH8 Express chipset and supports an Intel Core 2 Duo processor in the LGA775 package with a 533/667/800/1066 MHz FSB. Equipped with the dual core technology, the high performance industrial-grade panel computer enables users to simultaneously run demanding applications. The unique rugged plastic front bezel is NEMA 4 / IP65 compliant with the advantages of light weight, a high degree of hardness, good heat dissipation and anticorrosion ability to be designed to work in a wide range of heavy-duty industrial fields.
Featuring two PCI expansion slots, user can easily plug in standard half-size PCI cards for expansion and system integration, such as motion card, communication card and so on. The PANEL1173-841 also supports two SATA interfaces (2 x 3.5” or 2 x 2.5” HDD) for connection of mass storage devices. Moreover, the PANEL1173-841 features a built-in speaker to display multimedia content program, and also has an optional WLAN module and antenna for wireless connectivity.
Other I/O advantages include dual Gigabit Ethernet, three COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, DVI-I connector, Line-out/Mic-in, two Firewire (IEEE 1394a), and two PS/2 ports. Mounting options include panel mount and rack mount. Moreover, this 17” industrial panel PC can run the latest operating software including Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.
