CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, FEBRUARY 6, 2008 - GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms announced PACSystems RX3i CPU320, which incorporates an Intel 1 GHz processor to provide unprecedented speed and performance. The CPU320 is ideal for applications where the processing power of the current controller has been pushed to the limit. In addition to the increased performance, the CPU320 has 64Mbytes of user memory available.
Key features of the RX3i CPU320 include two built-in communication ports, configurable data and program memory. The CPU320 can be programmed in Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, and C. The CPU supports Symbolic Variables addressing and over 32K of discrete and analog I/O. The powerful processor supports up to 512 program blocks with a maximum size for a block is 128KB.
