| Grace Engineered Products Introduces USB and Serial Programming Interfaces for Allen-Bradley 1747-UIC |
 [Davenport, IA: November 3, 2003] – Convenient programming from outside enclosure brings added safety to personnel. The new GracePortä P11, B14 & P22 USB convenience interfaces offers personnel multiple solutions when using the new Allen-Bradley 1747-UIC USB DF1 Serial and DH-485 Interface Converter. If the 1747-UIC is used from the outside of the enclosure, Grace offers a full line of serial extension cables for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, MicroLogix, SLC-500, Compact Logix, FlexLogix and AIC+. If the 1747-UIC is installed permanently inside the enclosure, Grace offers a P11 and P22 Series USB Type A interface that presents the USB port to the outside of the enclosure. These interfaces are available with 10’ cables or as bulkhead adapters. For the DH-485 interface, the B14 interface extends the RJ-45 port to the outside of the enclosure. GracePortsä are available in Nema 12/4, 4X, Stainless Steel, Nema 7&9, or Nema 1 assemblies, with or without power outlets. A convenience interface, brings connections from the inside to the outside of control panels. Grace provides 1000’s of different combinations of cables, connectors, and outlets in NEMA 1/12/4/4X, stainless steel, and Nema 7/9 housings. All ports are clearly marked as to their function.
