Davenport, IA --Grace Engineered Products has enhanced their "M5 Series" line of Stainless Steel Interfaces with a locking mechanism to comply with FDA regulation #21CFR211 which requires that validated systems be locked. The GracePorts(tm) "M5" stainless steel programming port was designed to meet the unique requirements of the Drug, Food Processing, Dairy, Chemical and Petro-Chemical Industry and other industries requiring stainless steel construction. This stainless steel interface product line significantly broadens the huge varieties of GracePort? interfaces already available to the market. The "M5" housing brings Grace?s flexibility and versatility to a new set of customers who demand long life and corrosion resistant stainless steel housings.

GracePorts(tm) are the most flexible and versatile in the industry by providing over 4000 different combinations of cables, connectors, and outlets in NEMA 1/12/4/4X housings with 3-5 day delivery.

Phil Allen, President said, "The demand for our products are driven by safety, the NFPA 70e OSHA directive, and other regulations such as specific to certain industries. Customers also see the benefit of the added convenience, and reduced contamination within electrical enclosures with our products. Personnel have fewer reasons to open the electrical enclosure doors and be exposed to hazardous voltages."

The GracePort(tm) M5 Series housing is NEMA 4X, UL Recognized, CSA and CE Approved.
