Upgraded for Automated Unit Conversions & Printed Report Sioux Center, IA, February 6, 2007: Groschopp's MOTORTEC STP (Speed, Torque and Power) Calculator for rotational device calculations has been upgraded to include automated conversions of units, and a printable report with all unit conversions. The tool is free to users and can be downloaded from Groschopps web site. Our MOTORTEC STP calculator helps engineers with motor selection by eliminating the associated math and often frustrating unit conversions, said Ron Didier, Groschopps VP of Engineering. Groschopps first release of STP in 2006 was hailed by reviewers as user-friendly and intuitive. Using STP is simple. By inputting two known variables, the third value is immediately calculated. With the new automated conversions, the tool can meet the motor specifiers requirements by giving results in other multiple measurement units. The tools precision can be user-set to display up to nine decimal points. About Groschopp, Inc. Groschopp is an industry leader in the engineering, design and manufacture of high-quality durable and serviceable fractional horsepower electric motors, gearmotors and reducers. Groschopp specializes in customized OEM motors and integrated motion solutions for high-reliability applications. |
