H2O Jet introduces Waterjet Cutting Pumps

H2O Jet introduces Advantage™ Series UHP Waterjet Pumps at International Manufacturing Technology Show 2006

OLYMPIA, Wash., August 30, 2006 – H2O Jet will introduce three models of its new Advantage Series Ultra High Pressure Pump for waterjet applications at the IMTS at McCormick Center in Chicago, Sept. 6-13. H2O Jet is exhibiting in booth B-6178/79 with Robotic Production Technology.

The three Advantage models that are being introduced are:

1. - H50R Two redundant intensifiers, 60K and 40K psi, 50 HP motor, 1 gal/minute flow rate

2. - H100D Dual Intensifier, 60K and 40K psi, 100 HP motor, 2 gal/minute flow rate

3. - H50S Single intensifier, 60K and 40K psi, 50 HP motor, 1 gal/minute flow rate

The Advantage family of pumps is ideal for both water-only and abrasive waterjet cutting applications. Its operator friendly features provide real time diagnostics, quiet operation and easy access to all internal pump components. Additionally, the intensifiers are mounted at tabletop height for ease of maintenance.

H2O Jet will also display its unique “Integral Diamond Eductor” (IDE) Cutting Head. The H2O Jet IDE consistently demonstrates superior performance and reduced operating cost when compared to standard sapphire-based cutting heads. Its embedded diamond orifice provides dead-on jet stream delivery that eliminates misalignment, over-torquing and stack-up errors. The IDE also features a revolutionary mixing chamber design that eliminates wear while providing maximum cutting power and ultimate performance. The total result is up to 50% faster cutting speeds, superior edge quality and 10 to 20 times greater Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).

H2O Jet will also be exhibiting an extensive array of UHP Pump replacement parts for a variety of pump brands.
