Hane Training - Maintenance & Troubleshooting of the Allen-Bradley SLC-500 (Level One)
You’ll Learn How To:
  • Identify the Hardware Components of the SLC-500 PLC
  • Configure and Install a SLC-500 PLC
  • Develop and Interpret Simple Programs Utilizing all Instructions Available
  • Troubleshoot Programs and Isolate System Faults within the SLC-500 System
  • Properly Use Peripheral Devices to Store, Copy, and Print Programs

    This course can be tailored to address specific plant needs.

    Who Should Attend: Plant engineering and maintenance personnel.

    Course Specifics: Prerequisites: Students should have a working knowledge of electromechanical control devices and be familiar with relay ladder logic.
    Length: 36 hours
    Format: Hands-on Workshop. One lab station for every two students. Training software is available utilizing Allen-Bradley APS, ICOM, Taylor software, and other software products.
    Class Size: Up to 10
