| Harting Introduces RJ-Industrial® Small Format Push Pull Connector for Industry |
Ethernet is now being adopted for use in harsh factory environments and a common interface connector is the well-known RJ-45 Ethernet connector. This connector is usually encapsulated into a bulky metal or plastic housing that substantially increases the entire package size. To respond the needs of users for an easy to use, small form factor, RJ 45 connector with IP 67 characteristics, HARTING has developed the RJ-Industrial Push Pull connector. This connector, surely the smallest IP 67 package available based on RJ-45, has a push-pull locking mechanism, a dynamic peripheral seal guaranteeing IP 67 performance and supports horizontal cables up to AWG 22.
