Honeywell Sensing & Control News
| Honeywell Sensing and Control Announces It's Torque Watch Sensor is Now Available Through Sensotec Business |
COLUMBUS, OH., May 21, 2004 - Honeywell [NYSE: HON] Sensing and Control announces that its leading range of Torque Watch sensors is now available through its Sensotec Test and Measurement business. The Honeywell Sensotec business adds a wider distribution network and increased support and service to the appeal of this popular product. The simple-to-use Torque Watch sensor mounts directly to the device being measured with, at the most, two simple tools (a keyed chuck and a square socket driver) and measures either clockwise or counter-clockwise torque. Rotating the gauge gives a direct reading on a clearly visible dial. To ensure adaptability to a variety of industrial needs, the Torque Watch sensor comes in three series comprising 33 models that measure torque at low range (0.0030.60 oz./in.), mid range (0.0540.0 oz./in.) and high range (15.0200.0 oz./in.). Users can also choose metric (0.060.6 to 15100 g/cm) or System Internationale (0.22 to 0.10.7 N/mm) versions. All models offer over-torque protection. Price, availability and ordering information for the Torque Watch Series is available at www.honeywell.com/sensotec.
