Honeywell Sensing & Control News
| Honeywell Sensing and Control Announces Release of New Oilfield Brochure |
COLUMBUS, OH. November 1st, 2004) Honeywell [NYSE: HON] Sensing and Control announces a new "Oilfield Tough" brochure detailing a full line of rugged pressure and load sensors is now available from Honeywell Sensotec, an operating unit of Honeywell Sensing and Control. The "Oilfield Tough" line has been widely used in the oil and gas industry over the past 20 years. But Honeywell Sensotec representatives note that the sensors are equally well adapted to any industry in which field conditions are similarly demanding. The "Oilfield Tough" line includes explosion proof transducers and intrinsically safe pressure transmitters, all of which are manufactured at Honeywell Sensotec's Columbus, Ohio, headquarters. That localization enables the firm to control all aspects of design and production so that it can serve as a custom shop. Although Sensotec makes sensors in quantity, it will also design and manufacture a single sensor to fit a customer's requirements for a special job. The new brochure provides a product selector page and links to the company's Web site data sheets help customers find the appropriate sensor for their application. Customers can either download a copy of the brochure or request a print version by going to www.sensotec.com/oil-gas.asp.
