Honeywell Sensotec Introduces New Brake Pedal Load Cell

Honeywell Sensotec Introduces New Brake Pedal Load Cell
COLUMBUS, OH., September 2, 2005 —Honeywell [NYSE: HON] Honeywell Sensotec features a brake pedal load cell that measures force where the direction of the load changes. This sensor is designed with a large, flat loading surface (3” diameter) that increases similarity with the original pedal surface. A set of tapped holes on the underside and a special mounting bracket allow it to be firmly attached to the pedal. The load cell gives the same output (+/- 1%) no matter where the force is applied across the surface. By minimizing the error due to off-axis loads, this sensor is part of a portable system used in automotive and aerospace brake testing. For more information on this and other load cells, please visit www.honeywell.com/sensotec.
