ICONICS Announces Alarm Analytics

Chicago, IL, ISA ‘05 – October 2005 — ICONICS, a leader in Real-time Manufacturing Intelligence Visualization software for Microsoft Windows operating systems, today announced Alarm Analytics, the newest module for the BizViz™ suite of manufacturing intelligence software. Alarm Analytics is a robust module that will provide dashboards and real-time portal views of alarms and historical data. The BizViz suite of products provides real-time manufacturing intelligence from the production floor to the boardroom, turning data into your competitive advantage.

Alarm Analytics incorporates alarm-management specifications from the Engineering Equipment and Materials Users' Association (EEMUA) and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). These alarm-management industry specifications are becoming widely accepted in several industries that use process and discrete automation. For alarm management and incident reporting, ICONICS’ new Alarm Analytics can mine existing DCS, PLCs and SCADA systems, allowing users to leverage their existing infrastructures with a suite of reporting metrics. Alarm Analytics can provide a single view of all alarms, both real-time and historical, from OPC and non-OPC systems.
