ICONICS Announces John Pettit Named VP of Business Development


Houston, TX, ISA ‘04 – October 5, 2004 — ICONICS, a leader in Web-enabled, OPC-based HMI/SCADA and Manufacturing Intelligence Visualization software for Microsoft® Windows® operating systems, today announced that John Pettit has joined ICONICS in the position of Vice President of Business Development. John has extensive management and sales experience in the industrial automation industry. In this role John will be directly responsible for ICONICS' OEM and strategic sales channels, reporting directly to Russ Agrusa, President and CEO of ICONICS.

John has many years of experience managing strategic accounts at Applied Process Technologies and K-tron International. After earning a BS in Electrical Engineering from Temple University, John held several positions within K-tron International, including Vice President of Engineering and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Most recently John was president of Applied Process Technologies, a provider of consulting, design and engineering services. In John’s 27-year career he has focused on system integration, selling, consulting and P&L operations within the industrial automation industry.
