February 26, 2007 - IFS announced that Velocity Group, has joined the IFS Business Partner Network in the United States. Velocity Group will focus on selling IFS Applications 7, IFS component-based enterprise software suite, in the Midwest to medium-size manufacturers that need support for complex mixed-mode manufacturing across the extended enterprise. Using an advanced process-driven methodology, Velocity Group has been selling another enterprise resources planning (ERP) solution throughout North America for the past seven years. Velocity Group provides a wide range of enterprise technology solutions and strategic consulting services for companies to deliver increased efficiency and effectiveness. Its proven methodology drives the cost out of doing business on a day-to-day basis, improves profitability, and creates a business culture of productivity that is agile, innovative, and more importantly, sustainable. Velocity Group uses its Success Assurance Model (SAM) to rapidly define business objectives, identify the most significant contributors to corporate success, and deliver the technologies and training for success. SAM consistently delivers high-value solutions to companies, generating a rapid return on investment (ROI) and tangible results. Velocity Groups Success Assurance Model fits perfectly with the IFS Applications agility because it allows companies to implement only the components needed for their specific business processes, said Bob Corrigan, Director of Channel Sales for IFS North America. Using IFS integrated business models and our service-oriented architecture, IFS provides our partners with a robust product for the mid-market. After two years of careful research, we selected the IFS Applications suite as the ERP technology for our very effective Success Assurance Model, said Michael Ligudzinski, President of Velocity Groups Strategic Services Division. We are impressed by the functionality and technical architecture of the IFS system. It enables us to better deliver the full benefits of our SAM approach. About IFS IFS (OMXS: IFS), the global enterprise applications company, provides solutions that enable organizations to respond quickly to market changes, allowing resources to be used in a more agile way to achieve better business performance and competitive advantage.
