 July 8, 2009 - FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology is offering a USB output option for the LCM300. The LCM300 In-line Load Cell now available with USB Output eliminates the need for an analog amplifier, power supply, and display equipment making usage easy to use and much more effective. This USB integration also provides power to monitor the output of the sensor and includes FUTEK’s USB Basic Software which allows users to monitor the output of the Sensor in real time. The standard LCM300 has a robust construction available in 17-4 Stainless Steel, with male threads on both ends and a 10 feet long 28 AWG 4 conductor shielded PVC cable. This product offers a miniature design with a height of 1.20” and a diameter of 1.00”. Applications include welding, tension and compression applications such as hydraulic systems. This model has nonlinearity of ±0.5% and deflection of 0.001” nominal. The standard LCM300 can be modified or customized and most models are in FUTEK’s inventory making them available for 24 hour shipping. Similar to their entire Load Cell product line this model is manufactured in USA and uses metal foil strain gauge technology.
