Industrial connection box simplifies scanner replacement

Datalogic adds a new industrial connection box to its C-Box product line – the C-Box 150

Bologna, 22nd June 2006 - Datalogic announces that it has added the C-Box 150 to its line of industrial connection boxes. The C-Box 150 is designed to considerably reduce manufacturing plant downtime with regard to scanner replacement.

In fact the C-Box 150 enables a simple and quick procedure for scanner replacement, by using only a screwdriver. The embedded microprocessor board provides automatic backup/restore procedure to ease scanner replacement.

This new industrial connection box inherits the main features of C-Box product line. It has an external 25-pin connector to connect to the scanner and a wide terminal strip for easy and fast cabling operations. It also has an internal 9-pin connector to access the auxiliary port of the scanner. Furthermore, the C-Box 150 is provided with an internal power switch and power LED.
