Barry Young Joins ARC Advisory Group

March 22, 2011 - ARC Advisory Group announces that industry veteran, Barry S. Young, has joined its automation team as a principle analyst.  Young brings more than 25 years of professional experience in the process control and industrial automation industry to ARC to expand the company’s already significant expertise in this area.

Prior to joining ARC, Barry served as an account and project manager for New England Controls, Emerson Process Management’s leading local business partner in New England, where he helped design and implement automation solutions for a variety of high-profile end user clients in the life sciences, utility, pulp & paper, and other industries.

Prior to New England Controls, Barry handled a variety of responsibilities within the global Invensys/Foxboro Company organization, including project management, account management, industry and product marketing, and educational services. Prior to Invensys, Barry served as a product manager for the Masoneilan ball valve control line.

Barry’s education includes a B.S. in Management Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and MBA courses at Bryant University. He is a member of the Project Management Institute.
