Server-Based Infor EAM Business Edition Increases Productivity Through Unmatched Visibility Into Business Processes and Maintenance ATLANTA – August 21, 2006 – EAM Business Edition is a powerful enterprise asset management (EAM) solution that enables a small to midsize enterprise to control critical functions including work orders, purchasing, inventory and preventative maintenance, without the investment and extended implementation time required for large-scale installations. A Preventative Maintenance module enables the creation of tasks to service multiple assets and schedule preventative maintenance based on a fixed date, flexible time period or metered usage. The Materials and Inventory module offers tools to monitor and control the inventories of storerooms, providing economic order quantity and class calculations and assignments, while the Purchasing module ensures the correct parts are ordered, monitoring delivery times, vendor performance, payments and goods receipts.
