Melbourne, FL – November 1, 2007 - Infotech Systems Inc. has released a more powerful version of it’s Advanced Manufacturing and Inventory Control Software based on Microsoft’s SQL Server 2005 database platform.

Infotech Systems Inc. has supplied Manufacturing Inventory control software to small and medium size manufacturers since 1996 based on Microsoft’s Windows platforms and has primarily served the defense, aerospace, and electronic components industries. The move to the more robust SQL environment will allow AMICS SQL to now be deployed across larger enterprise-wide applications.

Vasu Vasudevan, President and CEO of Infotech Systems Inc., said the move to the SQL world has been driven primarily by demands of existing customers and the need to position the product family for future expansion.

“We had wrapped the original Windows version of AMICS in a lot of manufacturing experience combined with the accumulated input from our original Windows customer base – but we were limited to smaller, single location opportunities. The SQL Server world is much broader and affords our existing customers a smooth migration path as they grow. And now we can also address the needs of corporate customers with more complex requirements as we move forward.”

Infotech Systems Inc. is a software developer specializing in Manufacturing Inventory control software, engineering workflow consulting, system design, and programming since 1996. The company was born when founder Vasu Vasudevan became the very first graduate of the NASA Small Business Incubator Program in 1995.
