Ingersoll Rand enhances ICS Enterprise software
New functions in ICS Enterprise introduced include scheduling of regular archiving by date or cycle number, classification, searches and data report compilation by team, tool ID, VIN, etc. Tightening curves are saved in the database, and up to 10 curves can be overlaid on-screen.

ICS Enterprise retains all the functions of previous ICS versions, Connect, Network and MultiSync. ICS Connect enables methods technicians to program and access basic fastening strategies and consult cycle data with a single controller via an Ethernet 1:1 connection. ICS Connect is supplied as standard with all IC1D and IC1M controllers.

ICS Enterprise enables advanced programming and management of networks of up to 500 controllers of slaved electric screwdriving tools, handheld tools or multiple spindle systems. In addition to complete management of the screwdriving function on a production site, its principal innovation is its ability to export all data to ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) compliant databases for archiving. This means that all screwdriving information is accessible from the company’s information system for many types of analysis and statistics, or for integration with other production traceability data.

In association with Insight IC controllers and installed in a standard PC, ICS software from Ingersoll Rand enables automated management of screwdriving processes: torque programming and monitoring, fastening strategy, tool synchronization, maintenance alarm, etc. The new version of ICS Enterprise extends the existing range, providing new functions and above all the ability to export data in real time to SQL databases. All cycle data, parameters, diagnostics, event logs and statistics can then be accessed from the customer’s information system.

ICS Network enables programming of several IC1D and IC1M controllers linked by LAN or direct connection. This option also enables operators to program advanced fastening strategies, with tightening up to the yield point.

The ICS MultiSync software package facilitates set-up and monitoring of systems of up to 100 spindles. It also enables advanced multi-spindle fastening strategies, remote monitoring and data archiving.

Ingersoll Rand Solution Center teams are ready to install, set up and commission ICS Enterprise on customers’ sites according to their traceability requirements.
