IntelliCom announces NetBiter Modbus I/O extender modules

April 21, 2009 — IntelliCom launches Modbus-based NetBiter I/O Extender series, a collection of analog and discrete I/O modules with Modbus-RTU protocol communications. The NetBiter I/O extender modules are ideal for a wide variety of distributed I/O applications including data acquisition & control, process monitoring and test & measurement.

The following I/O products are the first to be launched in this product range:
  • IOX-DAIO (4 DI, 2 DO, 2 AI, 1 AO, 2 RTD Temperature)
  • IOX-8DIO (8 DI, 8 DO)
  • IOX-6RTD (6 RTD temperature)

    Main features
  • Different types of I/O modules
  • Modbus RTU Slave with RS485 communication
  • Fully compatible with NetBiter webSCADA for communication over Ethernet, GSM and GPRS
  • Screw terminals, LED indicators and DIN rail mounting
  • Compatible with online management portal www.NetBiter.net

    When using the I/O modules together with the NetBiter webSCADA product it is possible to monitor/control the I/O signals over Ethernet LAN’s, Internet or GSM/GPRS networks. This makes a powerful solution for remote monitoring and control, alarm management and data logging / trend graphs of I/O.
