EVERETT, Wash., June 20, 2007 - Intermec Technologies appointed Phil Danner vice president of engineering. Phil Danner becomes vice president of engineering, succeeding Mike Abel, who has taken a position as vice president, program management with the company. Danner joins Intermec after a 15-year career with General Electric, where he served in numerous positions during his tenure there, including engineering and quality leader, staff master black belt, and vice president, technology and chief technology officer. His most recent position was as vice president of engineering, Global Signaling for GE's Transportation business. "Phil is a seasoned leader who has a proven track record of leading global engineering programs and reducing time to market," said Steve Winter, president and chief operating officer. "He has the right experience for our business model to leverage our R&D efforts and convert our technology leadership to market leadership." About Intermec Intermec Inc.
