November 9, 2011 - Invensys Operations Management released the latest version of its Wonderware InTouch 2012 human machine interface (HMI) software. InTouch 2012 includes many highly requested customer enhancements and performance improvements, including strengthened security; simplified installation and license management; increased operator and engineering productivity and efficiency; and support for the latest remote desktop services and virtualization technologies from Microsoft. The Wonderware InTouch software is the primary visualization application of the company’s InFusion Enterprise Control System. An open and extensible solution, the software enables users to quickly and easily create standardized, reusable HMI and real-time decision support applications that can help maximize their return on engineering shorten project times and significantly reduce maintenance costs. With its market-leading innovation, graphics, ease of use, engineering efficiency and support, the software goes beyond the capabilities of an ordinary HMI to help drive real-time business optimization. “Our goal is to simplify workforce empowerment and collaboration with tools and resources to make informed business decisions in real time, furthering the pursuit of business optimization.
