IRAI announces Virtual Universe 3D process simulation software

May 9, 2010 - IRAI presents Virtual Universe. Using the latest technologies (already used for video games) for 3D rendering, physics engine and 3D sounds, Virtual Universe allows the creations of realistic simulations.

This product can communicate with PLC simulators integrated with most of the automation software workshops: Siemens PLCSIM, Schneider Electric Unity, 3S-Software Solutions CODESYS, Ics-Triplex ISAGRAF. This list will soon spread to all automation workshops integrating a PLC simulator. In addition, Virtual Universe can connect to any software integration an OPC server; it is also able to perform simulation by connecting directly to any PLC through Advantech I/O cards connected to the PC.

Beyond the simulation of automation applications, Virtual Universe allows the creation of simulation in the field of robotics. The following are examples provided as standard examples: vacuum robot, 6 dof robot (ABB robot).
