Research Triangle Park, NC - 26 November 2007 - At the 2007 Honors & Awards Gala in October, ISA honored individuals whose contributions and accomplishments helped advance the field of automation. The ISA Honors & Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for 2008 recognition. The awards program recognizes outstanding technical accomplishments, Society service, contributions to education, mentoring students, standards development, and corporate support. Nominations are due 10 February 2008, and award descriptions and nomination forms are available online at www.isa.org/honors. ISA has approximately twenty award categories, and nominations for the awards come from all over the world every year. The awards are split into two main categories: Technical Awards and Service Awards, with some additional awards that don't belong in either category. Technical Awards: * Douglas H. Annin Award * E.G.
