Research Triangle Park, NC (14 January 2008) - ISA partnered with Knovel Corporation to provide ISA content to subscribers of Knovel's online technical reference collection.

Knovel is an online science and technical reference collection used by applied scientists and practicing engineers around the world to quickly locate relevant and reliable technical information. Knovel customers include 70 of the Fortune 500 companies and over 250 leading engineering and science universities worldwide.

Knovel has uniquely optimized content, search, and interactive tools for specific engineering disciplines. Knovel's content includes material properties, process and design information, standard procedures, equations, and formulations. More than 1,200 leading reference works and databases from over 40 international publishers and professional societies are integrated for easy information discovery.

The addition of ISA's books and technical references will help subscribers find valuable information about automation and control systems. Access to these resources through Knovel's fast and accurate search technology will enable design engineers to find the right resources to develop their systems, which helps companies save time and money.

"We are pleased to partner with Knovel to deliver the highest quality technical information available," said Chip Lee, Director of Publishing Services at ISA. "The combination of Knovel's unique search technology and information and our rich content will help researchers all over the world to advance their work."
