ITT announces CGL Series high voltage power input connectors
September 30, 2009 – ITT Interconnect Solutions developed a family of power input connectors. Designated the CGL Series, the connectors are rated for operation from 230V to 630V, making them ideally suited for power supply applications currently using MIL-C-5015 and VG95234 connectors, as these connector types are only approved for operating voltages of 50VAC if they are accessible during operation.

Conforming to European low voltage and EMC guidelines, the robust CGL Series connectors are fully shielded, sealed to IP67 standards and offer Pollution Degree 3 protection. Fully intermateable with other products based on MIL-C-5015, VG95234 and CA-B standards, the CGL Series power input connectors can be configured in 16 contact arrangements with contact counts ranging from three to 24. Contact termination ranges from 1.5 to 50mm2. PG-threaded and metric gland options as well as universal backshells are also available.
