| IXXAT introduces CAN-IB10x/PCIe interface card | ||

January 19, 2011 - IXXAT introduces CAN-IB10x/PCIe interface card. The CAN-IB10x/PCIe features up to four CAN channels and can be provided with galvanically isolated interfaces. For the automotive industry, the high-speed CAN channels can be switched to low-speed CAN via software. Furthermore, the card can be equipped with up to four LIN or K-Line interfaces. For applications which require a higher pre-processing performance, e.g., intelligent data handling or active filtering of reception or transmission data onboard, the interface can be equipped with a powerful 32-bit microcontroller system. The modular architecture of the interface board also enables the addition of customer-specific interfaces by means of piggyback modules. This allows for a versatile usage of the CAN-IB10x/PCIe, both in industrial and automotive applications. IXXAT supplies the card complete with its VCI driver for connection to a PC. The Windows driver supports all interfaces on the card and enables their operation both with customer-specific programs and with the analysis and configuration tools from IXXAT. The VCI driver also supports all other PC interfaces offered by IXXAT, enabling the user to easily switch the type of interface without any adaptation of the customer application. Additionally, drivers for the real-time Windows extensions RTX and InTime as well as for Linux are available. |
