January 10, 2012 - Engineering, systems integrator and solutions provider JMP Engineering, Inc. has opened a new office in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX to better serve industrial clients in the region.

The new office is part of JMP’s continued expansion plans across North America. Scott Shawyer, President and CEO, says: “The Texas region is strong and growing rapidly, and we’re increasingly working with manufacturers and producers in this part of the country. The new JMP Dallas–Fort Worth office is committed to providing our existing and soon-to-be clients with reliable local support along with access to the global expertise that exists across the company.  The DFW team is ready to deliver.”

Overseeing the new office is Marc Goulet, an experienced JMP manager and solution provider, along with Dan Foster, a seasoned professional with a background in automation and packaging. Goulet has worked with leading companies across several sectors and has helped them integrate controls, automation and information solutions that improve plant performance.  At the front end, Foster helps companies formulate automation strategies that guide clients through the planning and selection phases of their procurement process. Together they provide turnkey operational and client management support that embodies the JMP Experience.

“We’re pleased to be able to contribute to the region’s growth and competitiveness and provide a higher level of support to the growing number of companies interested in our engineering, systems integration and automation services.  Opening an office in Dallas is something our clients requested and we are here to service that need,” said Paul Wilson, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Wilson also pointed out that as JMP lands new projects in the area, the need to expand the Dallas branch will be made easier by the abundance of qualified labor in the DFW area.

JMP has expanded geographically over the years, establishing offices in Burlington ON, Cambridge ON, Toronto ON, London ON (Automation Facility), San Antonio TX, Philadelphia PA and now Dallas-Fort Worth TX.

At every stage the company has been guided by its bedrock belief that integrity is the only foundation that will support long-term relationships and that to achieve success, it must help clients, partners and employees achieve success as well.
