Portland, ME – Kepware Technologies released updates to two key products, the iSNMP network monitoring and management solution and KEPServerEX, its flagship product for device communications.

The new iSNMP offering will replace the existing solution acquired last fall through the acquisition of COI Software. iSNMP is now a Plug-in to KEPServerEX, leveraging the ability to operate alongside other KEPServerEX plug-ins and provide device monitoring and management through both industry standard OPC and vendor native interfaces. iSNMP is ideally suited for devices with management interfaces and is accompanied by an additional Ping Driver, to monitor the health of basic devices without management interfaces.

In addition to the new functionality, this release of KEPServerEX includes enhancements to over 45 Drivers including those for; ABB, Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, BACnet, Cutler Hammer, DNP, GE Fanuc, Hilscher, Honeywell, Horner, Omron, Schneider Electric, Square D, Siemens, SIXNET, Telemecanique, Yaskawa, and Yokogawa.

“Kepware puts a significant effort into each product release, both in terms of new functionality and in enhancing the reliability and effectiveness of existing functionality,” says Tony Paine, Executive VP and CTO of Kepware. “This release has over 4 developer year’s worth of effort behind it. As a general rule going forward, Kepware will strive for Quarterly releases of our KEPServerEX product as it is gaining functionality at an increasing rate. Also, by the time you are reading this, we expect KEPServerEX to have received official OPC Certified Status through the new Independent Certification Test Lab in Germany.”
