| Lantronix appoints Jeff Kost VP of Worldwide Sales | ||

April 7, 2009 - Lantronix appoined Jeff Kost as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Kost brings almost two decades of sales experience to his new role at Lantronix, in which hell be responsible for further attracting large enterprise customers. Prior to Lantronix, Kost served 11 years at flash memory data and storage provider SanDisk. There he held several positions, implementing and driving strategic sales initiatives aimed at well-recognized original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), such as Nokia. Most recently, Kost served as the senior vice president and general manager of SanDisks Mobile Consumer Solutions Division. In his general manager role, Kost also spearheaded the sale of all mobile products through retail channels, as well as product marketing and management. We needed a smart, seasoned sales professional that knows how to lead a sales force and attract and engage large corporations to expand our customer base, said Jerry Chase, CEO of Lantronix.
