June 24, 2010 — Seven industry suppliers joined the Rockwell Automation Encompass third-party product referencing program, which helps manufacturers quickly locate the products that best solve their application challenges. More than 100 Encompass member companies supplement Rockwell Automation installations in one of three ways: by providing built-in connectivity to the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture system; by offering a critical component necessary to a manufacturer’s application; or by providing industry or application expertise using specialized product technology.

The Encompass program is part of the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork framework, which includes thousands of specialists in industries, applications, geographies, technologies and services around the world. As part of the PartnerNetwork framework, Encompass members enjoy improved customer engagement through promotion and co-marketing opportunities. The Encompass program also helps member companies increase market awareness of products, attain access to new market sectors, and improve technical and functional excellence.

The new Encompass program members include:
  • Control Station – offering software for PID tuning for both startup and standard operating environments.
  • Gardner Bender – producing branded electrical tools, voltage testers and wire management products used by electrical contractors.
  • FLIR Systems – designing and manufacturing thermal imaging infrared cameras.
  • Hermary Opto Electronics – developing and manufacturing machine vision products for a wide variety of industrial applications.
  • Jefferson Electric – providing magnetic products, including dry-type transformers, to the commercial, industrial and OEM markets.
  • OES Technologies – producing proactive warning systems that measure the process variance on a machine during production.
  • Parker Hannifin Filtration & Separation Division – offering filtration, separation, and gas generation products for a wide range of industries.

  • In addition to the new Encompass program members, two current members have recently announced the expansion of their offerings into new geographic regions:
  • Apex Dyanmics will now offer its line of helical planetary gearheads in Europe.
  • Post Glover Resistors has expanded its variable frequency drive resistor offerings into Asia Pacific.

  • About the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Framework
The Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork framework has three categories – business enterprise, sales and solutions, and products and technologies – with seven partner types that offer global manufacturers access to a network of companies focused on developing an ongoing approach to plantwide optimization, improving machine performance, and achieving sustainability objectives.
