.jpg) December 4, 2008 - Lumberg Automation introduces LioN-Link line of modular IP 67 Fieldbus bus coupler modules which provide the connection between a fieldbus system and fieldbus-independent I/O modules. Based on a single BusHead (DeviceNet, Profibus-DP, or CANopen), the I/O modules are distributed to the field via two lines. Up to 30 modules (Profibus) can be connected to the system for a total line extension of 100 meters per branch. Other features include rear and lateral mounting and staggered ports for easy installation of molded cordsets and field-attachable connectors. These products are well suited for robotics, packaging machinery, material handling and assembly applications. |
