.jpg) April 30, 2009… The Baumer Group has named Mark Barber as President of Baumer Ltd., the company’s U.S. division. Baumer Ltd. is based in Southington, Connecticut. Mr. Barber brings to his new position more than 19 years of domestic and international experience. Prior to joining Baumer, he served as President and CEO of Fischer Connectors as well as President and CEO of EAO Switch Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of EAO SA. Mr. Barber holds both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Headquartered in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, The Baumer Group is an innovator of precision sensors, motion control, and vision technology for the automation market. The company employs more than 2,000 people and has 34 subsidiaries around the world in 16 countries in Europe, America and Asia. “Baumer is committed to providing superior products to our customers,” said Mark Barber. “We have a proven history of quality, responsiveness, reliability and knowledgeable application engineering support.” |
