Martel introduces leak-tight connection fittings

November 15, 2009 - Martel Electronics offers a complete line of tool-less connection fittings that provide a calibration-good seal from vacuum to 5,000 PSI (350 Bar).

The basic Martel Quik-Test pneumatic kit (QCN-100P) includes connectors for both male and female NPT connections in 1/8”, 1/4” and 1/2” sizes. There is also a special connector for 1/4” IEC transmitter ports, 1 meter of 1/8” tubing, a seal service tool and sets of replacement seals. The pneumatic kit is rated to 1,000 PSI (70 Bar).

Quik-Test connectors use patented sealing technology along with precision machined parts that help calibration technicians meet the many challenges faced in industry, such as

Calibration of a large number of instruments quickly and safely

Creating leak tight connections to a variety of connection styles and sizes

Eliminate thread damage to expensive instruments

Minimizing contamination of process media (no pipe sealant needed or used)

In addition to these benefits, the fittings pay for themselves with improved efficiency and more accurate work.

Quik-Test connectors are available as basic pneumatic kits in both NPT and BSP styles for worldwide applications. Hydraulic kits for pressures above 1,000 PSI (70 Bar) come in NPT and BSP styles, too. The pneumatic kit styles are the QCN-100P for NPT, QCB-100P for BSP. The hydraulic kit styles are QCN-100H (NPT) and QCB-100H (BSP).

Going beyond the kits, a variety of additional sizes and types of Quik-Test connectors are available for just about any application.

Quik-Test connectors are specifically designed to complement Martel’s complete line of BetaGauge pressure calibration products.
