Edmonton, Alberta - January 20, 2006 - Matrikon Inc. (TSX:MTK) today announced a new Partner Growth Program designed to expand Matrikon's distribution channels, market reach and global brand awareness through the formalization and extension of its existing distributor program. One of the Program's main goals is to extend Matrikon's market reach into geographies where Matrikon has no market presence and into non-core industries. By certifying local Solution Providers in these regions, Matrikon will be able to supply software for projects that it would otherwise not have access to. Targeted regions include Latin America, Southern Europe and South-East Asia. "The Partner Growth Program is part of our strategic plan to grow product revenue," stated Mark Hamblin, Partner Growth Program Director.
