June 8 – MatrikonOPC opened a Centre of Excellence in the United Kingdom. Having a local office in the UK will facilitate greater access to MatrikonOPC's connectivity software, OPC training, and services for both current and prospective clients. 'We take great pride in our customer service. To better serve our clients in the UK, we knew we needed to have a local presence. We've been doing business in this region for many years now, but with a local office we are able to reinforce and strengthen our existing ties in the UK,' said Sean Leonard, Vice President of MatrikonOPC.
