February 24, 2009 MatrikonOPC released a Server for Johnson Controls N2 with compatibility to N2 and N2Open devices. Connectivity to Johnson Controls and compatible devices has never been easier or more economical. For integrating smaller Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) networks without NCMs, the OPC Server for Johnson Controls N2 offers direct access to N2 devices. This OPC Server removes the hassle of purchasing and programming an NCM to OPC-enable your Johnson Controls HVAC network. It communicates to N2 devices directly over serial or via serial to Ethernet converters such as the Moxa Nport 5130. Features and Benefits: About MatrikonOPC (a division of Matrikon Inc. [TSX:MTK]) With a collection of more than 500 OPC products and over 100,000 installations worldwide, MatrikonOPC is the world's largest OPC company. Matrikon is a charter member of the OPC Foundation, and has demonstrated a commitment to developing OPC as the industrial connectivity standard. |
