Montreal, Canada, May 30th, 2007 Matrox Graphics released PowerDesk-SE 2.04 display driver featuring a new Joined graphics card mode and improved widescreen resolution support. The enhancements in this driver provide more control for displaying information across multiple screensa critical requirement for professionals in industries such as energy management and process control. More Display Options PowerDesk-SE 2.04 includes Joined graphics card mode, a feature that enables two Matrox multi-display graphics cards to work in tandem in several Microsoft Windows desktop combinations. Using the following modes, you can either stretch or clone multiple displays: Additional features include: PowerRes mode, which offers increased widescreen resolution support, and Pivot mode, which allows for hardware rotation of one or more displays into portrait view. PowerDesk-SE 2.04 extends the functionality of the following Matrox Graphics solutions: Note: For Parhelia series users, the PowerDesk-SE 2.04 driver package adds the long sought-after feature of supporting TripleHead in independent mode.
