.jpg) COLUMBUS, Ohio (October 27, 2006) - METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to announce the addition of the Automated Precision Weighing Weigh Module (WM and WMH). The product lines WM and WMH combine the precision and quality of high-tech weighing sensors with modular, easy-to-integrate design and flexible connectivity. RS232 and RS422 interfaces are standard, connection to DeviceNet, Profibus DP and Ethernet can be established with optional communication modules. The two product lines feature readability of up to 0.1mg with capacities of up to several tons and are based on the proven METTLER TOLEDO MonoBloc technology. State-of-the-art signal processing and rugged design with FDA approved 316L stainless steel and integrated overload protection guarantee lowest downtimes and problem free use in harsh environments. Split-second stabilization times and 38 fully digital updates per second make these sensors suitable for 100% quality control and fast dosing and filling processes. The products feature a water and dust protection of up to IP67 and can be integrated in wash down applications. In addition, they are all available as intrinsically safe versions for integration in hazardous areas. As of November 2006, complimentary open-source ControlLogix drivers and HMIs specific to these product lines will be available. They will significantly shorten the integration time of these advanced digital weighing sensors and save valuable resources and development time for our system integrators and end users.
