The EDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch is an entry-level industrial 5-port Ethernet Switch that supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3x with 10/100M, full/ half-duplex, and MDI/MDXI auto-sensing RJ45 ports. The wide operating temperature of -10 to 60oC and the DIN-rail mounting ability makes the EDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch a ready plug-and-play solution for your Industrial Ethernet connection. Rugged and Compact Design The EDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch is capable of operating under temperatures of –10 to 60oC. That is rugged enough for any harsh industrial environment. Due to its compact housing, which measures only 25 x 109 x 88 mm (W x H x D), the EDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch only needs little space in the application field. The EDS-205 can easily be installed with DIN-rail mounting as well as distribution boxes. The high-intensity hardware design with IP30 protection and LED indicators make EDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch an easy yet reliable Ethernet Switch. DC- or AC- Power Input Options With the EDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch, you can choose either DC power input from 12V to 48 V or AC power input from 18V to 30V. The AC-24V power input is especially designed for applications in building automation where the source of power input is often restricted.
