MTS Hires Manager to Head Newly Formed Mobile Hydraulics Market Focus
CARY, N.C. (March 18, 2003) — MTS Sensors Corp, the originator of magenetostrictive sensing technology, announces the appointment of Fred Emanie to the newly formed position of Mobile Hydraulics Manager. MTS has recently established a mobile hydraulics market focus geared toward off-highway machinery and equipment design.

Emanie, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering, has more than 19 years in the mobile hydraulics industry, serving in positions such as project engineering, applications engineering, sales, business development, customer relations and engineering management.

“With Fred’s extensive experience and contacts, we feel he is the perfect person to position MTS as a leader in the mobile hydraulics sensor market,” said Director of Marketing and Sales, Dennis Morrow. “MTS has been serving MH customers for years and now we've dedicated new resources to this important marketplace.”

Emanie’s primary duty will be to build a mobile hydraulic marketplace for magnetostrictive sensors. His primary duties will involve devising a marketing plan, coordinating a regional sales team, on-site customer training and overall education about how magnetostrive sensors may be used as a cost-effective method in off-highway applications.
